ACTIVITIES
This was the first week of second
phase teaching practice. As it was the
first day, teachers gave us directions regarding the disciplinary steps to be
taken for the successful integration of academic and non-academic
activities. I got same class for
teaching during this period. As my
concerned teacher assigned, I prepared lesson plans and submitted before the
teacher. In 8th standard, I took chapter “Song of the Flower” from
the fourth unit in VIII E. It was quite
simple and beautiful for producing effective learning environment. In 9th standard, I took the
chapter “The Jungle Air Crash” from the IVth unit in IX A. I think the teaching learning process going
through an enjoyful way. Variety model
of activity cards and lesson plans helped to teach the chapters
effectively. Then I could complete the
poem “Song of the Flower” and started a new poem named “First Showers” from the
same unit.
CO-OCURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
We, the B.Ed trainees conducted a
quiz competition, on the topic “World War” for high school students. We gave prizes for the students who got
first, second and third respectively.
Many students participated in the quiz competition. Teacher and headmaster motivated and
appreciated the winners.

WEEK [13-11-2017 to 17-11-2017]
CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
This
was the second week of our teaching practice on 13th November
2017. In 8th Standard, I
started a new interesting chapter named “The Nightingale and the Rose” written
by Oscar Wilde. It was a chapter in the
IVth unit of “Flowers and Showers”.
As it was an interesting story and pupils were motivated to learn. The topic was introduced in a creative way by
using picture, videos and attractive activity cards. In 9th standard, I continued the
chapter “The Jungle Air Crash” by Juliane Koepcke.
CO-CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
In
the second week, we organized a quiz competition regarding the celebration of
children’s day. And also we arranged a
photo gallery of Jawaharlal Nehru, including photos from the childhood onwards.
Pupils were greatly enjoyed those events
and participated actively. We gave
prizes for the students who got first, second and third respectively.
IIIrd
WEEK [20-11-2017 to 24-11-2017]
This
was the third week of our second phase of teaching practice. I am glad to be a part of it. In VIIIth standard, I continued
the chapter “The Nightingale and the Rose” from the unit of “Flowers and
Showers. As it is an interesting story,
pupils were motivated to learn more about it and its author. In IXth standard, I took a poem
named “Another Chance” by Helen Steiner Rice from the IVth unit
“Dawn of Hope”. The variety mode of
entry activity and teaching process motivated the learner in a great way. Both the girls and boys were actively
participated in learning process.

ACTIVITIES
In
the third week of our teaching practice, we conducted a seminar on the topic
“Health and Hygiene” for high school students.
We used various aids for the effectiveness of the class. Students were actively participated in it. Some students participated excellently. The seminar was very useful one for
them. It helps them for their
well-being.

WEEK [27-11-2016 to 01-12-2017]
CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
In
this week, I took a new chapter named “A Day in the Country” by Anton Chekhov
from the unit “Flowers and Showers” in the class VIII-E. the story shows that nature has always been a
motivator for man and it is about now nature influences man. In this, they engaged in learning activities
like diary entry, poster and placards preparation, conversation etc. In IXth standard, I took a chapter
and its name is “The Last Leaf” by O’Henry.
The story shows that even in the most desperate moments of life, there
will always be a ray of hope and with strong determination and will power, we
could face any adverse situations.
Students talents and creativity were indicated in the group
activity. They find enjoyment in these
activities. They actively participated
in each and every moments.
CO-CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
We,
the B.Ed trainees organised competition programmes related to AIDS Day with the
support of school health club. Poster
making and notice preparation are some of the items in the competition. The school organized an AIDS Day rally for make
awareness in the people about it. We
were participated in all programmes.

WEEK [04-12-2017 to 08-12-2017]
CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
In
this week, I winded up the chapter “A Day in the Country” by Anton Chekhov from
the unit “Flowers and Showers in the class VIII. E. In IXth standard, I completed the
chapter named “The Last Leaf” by O’Henry.
I scaffolded students to do the activities in the text book including
language activities. All the textual questions
and answers were discussed and extra notes were given in my classes. A revision session were arranged in both
classes and it helps them to recollect the ideas, themes and points regarding
all chapters.
CO-CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
In
the fifth week of our teaching practice, we conducted an essay competition on
the topic “Human Rights”, in connection with the celebration of “Human Rights
Day”. And also we organized an awareness
programme about “Hunan Rights and its Violation”. All were attended and appreciated the
class. It was a very helpful one for
all.

WEEK [11-12-2017 to 12-12-2017]
CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
As
it is our final stage of second phase school internship programme, we completed
the entire portion which was given by the concerned teacher. And conducted a test paper for the
preparation of achievement test.the questions were marked out of 25 and given
45 minutes to attend the whole questions.
All of the pupils did their best in exam. I had to collect some data’s for my thesis.
CO-CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
At
the last day school assembly, we gave many books which were donated to the
school library including “Wings of Fire”, “I am Malala” and many literary tents
and tents related to other subjects.
